ZOMBIES O.O
I had the most graphic nightmare ever this morning. It involved zombies. Zombies eating humans. Really graphically. Like, sinking their teeth in and literally tearing flesh off people and chewing. All the bits that normal zombie flicks don't actually show you because it's too terrible. o.o There was lots of blood. And my dreamscape was littered with bits of flesh and bone. And the zombies. Everywhere. No escape. Much horror. O.O
After I woke up I literally couldn't get out of bed for five minutes because I was afraid of the zombies. It did not help that when I looked behind my curtain into the street, all that I saw was a peaceful (deserted o.o) suburban street, just like the type they show right at the beginning of a zombie flick. And then it took another five minutes to open my bedroom door, because I was convinced there were zombies behind it. Ditto for the shower screen. I've never been particularly paranoid about anything (except for maybe spiders). I'm not superstitious. Nor do I believe in vampires or ghosts or gods. But for a few minutes there after my dream I believed in, and was mortally afraid of, zombies.
Such is the power of the human mind to deceive.
O.O
I remember the dream really well, too. Xin was in it, and so was Lyan and her mother. And a homeless man. And a little girl. And a dog. All of whom were violently ripped apart and eaten by zombies. O.O (Except for Xin - I think she made it out)
There was a massive earthquake and the ground split open, like hell was opening up, and Lyan's house was in the middle and started collapsing. Her mum was still in the house when the zombies started coming she was being surrounded. Lyan and both leaped from the roof of another house that was collapsing and she managed to get to her mum but then they both got torn apart and eaten by zombies. It was quite horrible. I leapt too, but didn't make it across and fell somewhere. Zombies were behind me. I saw a pond in front of me, and I thought for a moment that maybe zombies couldn't go into water, but I was wrong. The zombies didn't get me though. But I saw them eating other people, and started running again.
Anyone seen Dawn of the Dead? Fast zombies. These zombies were fast zombies. They didn't shuffle. They ran. Like wolves. O.O
This one homeless man I came across had built a knee-high maze out of bloody bricks and bones and was running around the maze trying to avoid the zombies that were in the maze with him. I remember dream-me thinking that he was playing pac-man with the zombies, or something. It was weird. And horrible, because the zombies got to him in the end. They ate him too.
At around this point in the dream, I "woke up" and it turned out that I was in the Union House cinema watching a zombie movie with Xin. It had cost $100 too. It was at night and lots of people were there with snacks and things. And I remember thinking "it's a good thing zombies aren't real, because they love snacks and would eat us if they saw us with these snacks". Anyway, the movie got too frightening and people started leaving. Xin and I left too and we were going to catch the train together, but she ended up getting a lift from some friends. So I had to catch the train by myself. O.O It was dark and I got disorientated, and instead of going to Swanston St, I ended up on Queensberry St and was completely lost. Also, Xin had given me the snacks and I was carrying them.
And then I saw them.
Zombies.
White eyes glowing, yellowish skin, moving quickly and silently in a large pack.

...and okay I am no longer going to describe any more of this dream because it's creeping me out again.
All I have to say is that I'm never watching another zombie movie again (except for Resident Evil 3, because Milla Jovovich is hot like omgwtfpwned).
