A woman from the university just rang me with the news that they're granting me the $5000 graduate access bursary that I applied for. O.O

OMG.

I am so pleased at myself right now it's bordering on smugness! I remember filling out the application for it, on the very last day before it was due, after 2 days of no sleep around when I was stuck on that stupid Beowulf essay and mostly bullshitting my way through it. SO GLAD I DID IT. LOLZ!11111111oneone

Ahem. Anyway, earlier today I checked the round 1 offers for the Master of Teaching and saw that I was accepted. Enrolment is next Monday, which is earlier than I expected. And kinda scary. I'm so not ready for this yet. After 3 years of my Arts degree, I'm used to school starting at the end of February, not early January. But whatever. I get monies, so I'm not complaining (much).

In other news: Today in Kara, we totally pwned Shade of Aran, who we had never before managed to defeat. It was a momentous occasion and full of squee. But damn, I just realised that today may have been my LAST KARA EVER, because next Monday is enrolment. :-( That is sad times. SAD TIMES.
