You all know how I'm doing Viking Studies ja? Well, it's getting axed next year, along with most of the Classics department, Creative Arts and the removal of Gender Studies as a major (grr!).

Weirdest Star Trek Voyager episode EVER:

Episode 2.15 Threshold

Tom Paris breaks the warp threshold - a theoretical impossibility - and flies a shuttle at warp 10. But soon after he returns to Voyager he begins to mutate. Apparently travelling at infinite velocity sped up the process of human evolution by billions of years. He kidnaps Captain Janeway and they both go on a transwarp trip. They both turn into giant slugs and have little slug babies. Voyager finds them and finds a way to turn them back into humans. The end.
