May. 4th, 2009 07:57 pmStrangely, it's Monday and I'm not hating the world. Last Friday I was so pissed off at my job/profession/school but today it's all good again. More or less.
I'm taking my first ever professional sickie tomorrow, which should be fun. Oh to get to sleep in until 8am. Luxury.
I've been driving my mum's car to work all this week, and because it doesn't have a CD player, I've been playing old mix tapes that Erin made me. My early mornings and filled with Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Limp Bizkit, Korn and... Jill Sobule. I'm sure most of us have heard "I Kissed A Girl" but have you guys heard "Karen By Night"? Lyrics go something like... And then I saw / Karen by night / The leather comes out under the moonlight / Takes off her Chanel and hops on her bike / Looking like young Marlon Brando / Karen by night. Basically a female employee fantasizing about her boss. Totally gay. Very awesome.
My five periods in a row today went surprisingly well. Kids were remarkably docile, except for 8.1, who are just hopeless.
Lol of the day: Some kid in my Year 10 class spelled "Juliet" wrong ("Juilliet") after 3 weeks of studying Romeo and Juliet. What a n00b.
