Damnit, it feels like the weekend has just... flown right past me at warp 9.  And yes, as you can probably tell from my choice of words, I watched the Star Trek movie today!  It was so awesome.  Best movie I've seen in a long time.  I've never really been into TOS but I did know enough canon to feel the emotional resonances when all the main characters appeared for the first time.  Oh, Star Trek!  I felt all warm and tingly inside when they started talking about phasers and shields and port nacelles.  It just felt so comforting and familiar.  /geekgasm

Saturday was spent playing WoW.  It was frustrating though because my internet has been slowed to dial up speeds so I spent much of the time getting disconnected.  I was in a Mt Hyjal raid with Junbo, which I ended up having to miss because I kept getting d/c'ed, which was fail.  In happier news, my lovely friend therussianbride has joined the dark side and signed up for a trial account, after years of declaring that WoW is evil.  Muahahaha.  Resistance is futile.

I'm really, really, really REALLY not looking forward to tomorrow.  It's Monday of Week B which means there's lunch time meetings as well as after school meetings.  I'm so sick of meetings.  And of course I'll have to plan the rest of the week, which means I probably won't be home until 8 or 9pm again.  And exams and report writing is coming up in the next couple of weeks so it's just all going to be stress stress stress from here on out.  Fail.  :(
