Camera, today was a good day to die.

My old digital camera which I've had since 2004 has died. It has travelled with me to New Zealand, China, the U.S., Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. Rest in peace, little camera. I was considering getting a new one before my trip to Germany/Iceland anyway, so at least it was good timing. What I'm looking for now is a good compact digital camera that has nice specs but is small enough to take travelling. After a bit of research, it seems that the Olympus SP-600 UZ would suit my purposes. I've read some reviews and it seems that the SP-800 UZ is awesome, but no stores that I've found stock it. I'll probably end up going with the 600. Does anybody who knows a bit more about cameras have any recommendations? (I am specifically looking at you, junet_.)

Also, Moko woke me up today by sneezing on me. Twice. I suppose that's still better than positioning her bum next to my face and waking me up with the stench of her catbutt.
