The Happy
[+] The relatives have gone to Queensland for a few days.  My sanity remains intact for now.  Hooray!
[+] My addiction for World of Warcraft has resurfaced so I am happily immersed in Azeroth once more.
[+] Valkyrja is almost level 77 and so very close to getting her flying mount back again.
[+] I went shopping with mum yesterday at Chadstone and she was in a good mood so we didn't fight at all (!).  We ate sushi from a sushi train and she bought me a t-shirt for Christmas.
[+] I applied for two more jobs: Canterbury Girls' (English) and Highvale SC (Humanities/Geography). 

The Sad
[-] Got a rejection from Highvale the very next day.  :(
[-] Relatives are coming back on Sunday.  *sigh*
[-] Am being dragged out to a fancy dinner at the Crown tonight with dad's friends.
[-] I finished reading all 116 issues of Birds of Prey and have no more.  :(  And then I found out that it's being cancelled after February's issue.  </3
[-] And why is there hardly any fic for comic-verse Black Canary/Oracle?  There's nothing more painful than finding a wonderful new obsession and having no way to indulge in it!

I have no idea which restaurant! Dad says it's a seafood restaurant. And said some other Chinese word which I think means "lobby". Hmmm.

Oh, I have that game! I never finished it though... *guilty look* I have a terrible habit of never finishing the games that I start. Whereabouts are you up to?

I'm actually fairly close to the end, but I've paused to do side tasks, level up and fight all of the optional bosses. I have a feeling it's going to be ridiculously easy once I do go back to play out the rest of the plot, though, going by how easy some of the superhard bosses are by now :D

Awesome! You make me want to go back and finish it too. But that would mean abandoning several other games... and of course there's always World of Warcrack. So many games, so little time!

You know what's weird? I've already slowed down my levelling, and I'm not even 77 yet! Spent the last two days fishing and doing old quests in Nagrand. o.O I tried to solo Durn the Hungerer last night and he squished my pet. :(
