Locked out

My house is surprisingly burglar proof these days. In the past, whenever I locked myself out accidentally I've always managed to get back in. There was always the hidden key which opened the back door. Or I could climb in through the kitchen window.
Today I went for my run without my keys. Nobody was home, but I figured if nobody was home by the time I got back, I could always go around the back and use the spare key. Or climb in through the kitchen window as a last result.
Oh how wrong I was. -.-
When I got back, nobody was home so I went around the back only to find that the door that lay between me and the hidden spare key was LOCKED. The guest who's been staying over at our house had been all industrious and fixed the lock on that particular door. O.O So then I went to the kitchen window that I used to be able to climb through... but I had forgotten that earlier this year we had changed the kitchen windows, and now they are not climb-throughable anymore. So then I checked the living room slidey door that leads out to the dead fish pond, but that was locked as well. And so I was locked out for good. I wasn't very amused.
Luckily for me, mum came home ten minutes later and let me in. :D
In other news, I haven't been able to write anything for NaNoWriMo AT ALL because the last two days have pwned my brain. But I shall now go attempt to do so.
