In a rare and uncharacteristic bout of spontaneity last night, I snuck out of the house in the middle of the night to go on an adventure with Lucia. We drove to Brighton Beach... well, she drove - I just gave very bad directions. We got there and it was freezing, but the night was gorgeous. We talked and froze until 2am.

This morning I had one of those really vivid epic dreams. It involved sailing a little boat on really big waves, flying with a jetpack over the end of the world, and infiltrating the Dutch government (which, by the way, was employing these evil robots). It was kinda like Grand Theft Auto crossed with Battlestar Galactica.

I really need to get started on my English Assignment. *sigh*

Nice! Sounds like fun, and if you didn't mind the cold while doing it, well that says a lot. Glad you did that.

I did the same, too. Sort of. After Hooters-- don't ask-- we went out to San Fran and my hoodie just didn't seem like it was enough. We found a bar and posted up and braved the cold back to the car. Hopefully neither of us will catch a cold.

I have no idea what part we went to as it was the middle of the night and neither of us had been there before. But there was sand and beach. :D And it was opposite a pub/bar/TAB thing called Milano's, which made me think of TBSOL. /emo

Oh! ok, yeah that was the the beach part! =D U should check out the pier part in summer sometime. It's very nice, plus at night you can see the city lights. Romantic, woooooooo!

We can take that girl you're going to pick up at clubbing yeah? I will sit and wait in the car while you two get to know each other *cough*makeout*cough*.

We saw the city lights actually, but it was more annoying than romantic. I prefer the darkness, and the feeling that the water stretches on for an unknown forever. Lights and piers are far too tame. I like my beaches angsty. :D

And this hypothetical girl that I'm going to pick up is not at all going to be freaked out at the prospect of going to a dark, deserted beach with two strangers? :P
