Ordinary days

So it's Friday night and I just got home from work. It was the last day of city experience. I wore a suit. All the parents came. Lots of meeting and greeting and pointless chit chat. I met Sue (hot MILF from parent/teacher night) again and impressed her by remembering her name (she didn't remember mine). Hell, I'm impressed I remember her name. The Head of Senior School and the new Principal were also there. It was rather stressful. Everything went well though, with no disasters or embarassments. The parents took forever leaving and then we had to clean up afterwards. I was going to watch a movie with Mum (it's her birthday) but it was too late by the time I got home. Missed Eurovision too.

Meh. I'm depressed at the state of my life. I like my job, but it's so goddamn exhausting and time-consuming, I don't have the energy for anything else. And when I do come home at the end of the day, there's nothing really to pick me up and make it all worthwhile. I have no time for fandom, no time for gaming. Even when I have the energy to play WoW, it's pointless because hardly anyone is ever on when I am. There used to be a time that I could sign on to a bunch of chat programs and there'd be friends there to talk to, but that isn't the case anymore. People have moved on, or are too busy, or are in a different time zone. It sucks.

The last two nights I've had dreams of being at school and teaching. And then I wake up and do exactly that. Really feels like I'm working 24/7. I wish there was something else to get up for in the morning, other than my job.

work sucks....lets all move to brazil and do nothing all day long....you go first, send me a postcard when you get there to let me know you've arrived first. :-D

Brazil sucks! I haven't forgiven them for winning the World Cup back in 2002 yet. *stabs*
