Woah, didn't realise she and Katja had split up.
(Was just doing some wiki work on Gro and the rules of handball, now I have some idea of when it's ok for body contact)

Yeah, sad times. :(
From what I know it's OK to block from the front only and not from the sides and back. It's a foul if you grab them from behind (heh). But I think it's still a good thing to do in defense because it breaks up the momentum of the attackers.
