Okay, first of all... I have ADSL!!!!!111 (cue excited squealing from my minions... people)
Unfortunately, the modem seems to be broken. I called up my ISP and after many questions and much rebooting they've decided to send me a new one. But it won't get here until next week. So until then, I have a shoddy connection that disconnects (and then reconnects) me every ten minutes. Grrrr.
This morning I had a really cute dream. I was on a plane with some friends that I was visiting and the plane crashed near an ocean (that's not the cute bit). We climbed out of the wreckage... and I could see really pretty lights in the sky, like Aurora Borealis... and I had these nifty powers that could control the weather - I could make the sea go boom. And I did. I made the sea go boom, and the waves crashed and thundered, and it was good. Then the dream changed and I was outside of the house of one of the friends I was visiting. These friends were all identity-less except for one who's actually an LJ friend (and she will remain nameless just to keep you all guessing). *mysterious smirk* I will say that she was blonde... that should narrow it down. Anyway, for some reason we started comparing our hand sizes, and her hand was a lot smaller than mine... and then we held hands! And we kept holding hands when we walked, and we sometimes exchanged little glances. (/That/ was the cute bit.) Then we went inside and talked a bit with the other friends (while still holding hands) before the mystery LJ friend announced that she needed to go to the toilet... and apparently she only understood Spanish (or what stood for Spanish in the dream) because one of the friends pointed to the toilet and said something like "la cubica" meaning "that's the toilet". And then the mystery girl disappeared for a bit. After a while, the dream me went to the room where I was staying and found Miss Mystery sitting on the mattress which was my bed for the duration of the stay, and I grinned in a silly way and goofily said "that's my mattress". AND THEN.
...
My sister woke me up.
GAH!!!!
*grumble grumble grumble grumble*
Oh, one last thing.
penstarr, you should totally check out this article. Here's a small snippet:
The line between art and life just keeps getting deliciously blurrier when it comes to
The L Word and its cast. Four weeks ago, out lesbian actress Daniela Sea made her first appearance on the show, becoming the second out cast member (joining Leisha Hailey), and now Jennifer Beals has apparently outed co-star Katherine Moennig.
Regardless of what Beals knows that the rest of us don't, if Katherine Moennig wasn't a lesbian before Sarah Shahi whispered sweet, Spanish some'in-some'ins in ear ("Quiero lamer te hasta que te vengas en mi boca mil veces"), she probably is now. Good Lord, is there a human being with a pulse who could resist Shahi?
Hee.

Date: 2006-01-26 02:25 pm (UTC)p.s. I don't know. Let me think about it or something. If all else fails, a CD/book is a good option. Vouchers are good also. I don't really care!

Date: 2006-01-26 02:35 pm (UTC)Sern also sounds good.
Would you prefer it if I bought your movie ticket, payed for all snacks and treated you (and sern) to lunch/dinner/afternoon tea afterwards? Otherwise... what kind of CD? Which book? A voucher for where??
P.S. call me! (like right now, I have the only phone nearby so you won't wake anyone up)
